Whoa, is it me, or are some of those "fashion models" really ugly?

No, it's definitely not you.

At some point in the mid-1980s, some people (I'm think gay males) decided what Western society would deem to be the "new beauty," and it consisted of androgynous, anorexic "women."

I truly believe that Cheryl Tiegs and Christie Brinkley represent the last of the truly gorgeous fashion models--at least by heterosexual male standards.

Man, I miss the early 1980s--feathered hair, heavy makeup, and red fingernail- and toenail-polish.
